MAKING THE MOST OF A COVID CHRISTMAS Social distancing, restricted crowd numbers and concerns around safety are going to dominate how brands and stores interact with customers. We’ve put together some top-line ideas to on how a little innovative creative thinking with virtual and augmented reality, motion tracking and hands free interactive can create Xmas experiences to remember.
To demonstrate their incredible history we created an AR booklet to take beer lovers on an interactive journey across Pravha’s hometown. The booklet gave a beautiful overview of Prahva using augmented reality. But where it really shined was when it became interactive. Using the booklet imagery, as opposed to QR codes, users were able to explore at their own pace, creating their own adventure.
When augmented reality was first emerging it was often viewed as a gimmick. But this little augmented reality activation we did for Telstra showed that it can be a very powerful tool for creating connections with customers while being covid safe. It’s also a fantastic way of creating a meaningful touchpoint without anyone getting their hands dirty as we re-build post Covid-19.
Experiential activations with a human touch. Installed in Telstra’s store front windows our real-life mannequins caught shoppers attention by acting out fun summer activities. Each experience was real, a moment shared between human beings. And because it was authenticity, it delivered an incredibly strong message in a very interactive unique way.
